"The final tune gave drummer Vern Spevak a chance to do an extended solo. I have never seen drum playing like that. He had the audience on its feet at the end. My hat off to Mr. Spevak. He is a remarkable musician. Some of the other players did the we are not worthy gesture as he was playing. It was a great ending to a wonderful evening"
